Description

Responsibilities

Provide care for PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patients with a 1:4 ratio.
Monitor and manage telemetry, dysrhythmias, cardiac conditions, and post-MI patients.
Manage IVs, central/PICC lines, arterial lines, ports, and blood products.
Care for patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, chest tubes, HFNC, and tracheostomies.
Provide neurological care including CVA, aneurysm, craniotomy, EVD, and post-TPA patients.
Manage cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, heparin protocols, and insulin drips.
Provide pre/post cardiac surgery, TAVR, angiogram, pacemaker, and TR Band care.
Respond to rapid response and emergency situations.

Requirements

1+ year experience
Cerner experience required
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Travel experience not required
Patient ratio experience: 1:4
ACLS, BLS & TCAR/TNCC required
Strong IV therapy/phlebotomy skills
PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred
