Unit: Cardiac ICU
Location: Englewood, CO
Floor: 3rd
Number of Beds: 16
Staffing: 60
Unit Overview
- Day Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 - 2200)
- Night Shift: 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, 1 PCT (for census >14, 12 hours total/day – 1000 - 2200)
- Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients
- Equipment Used: Cardiac Monitoring, Ventilators, IV Pumps, Tube Feed Pumps, Swan
- EMR: Meditech
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-year current ICU hospital experience
- BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with neuro and medical ICU populations
- Prior experience with Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Intubations
- Central line placements
