Description
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position requires specific experience and certifications which are critical to providing the highest level of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and assist in diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient health and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and wellness strategies.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required.
Additional Information
This position will primarily involve day shifts with flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week. Holiday requests for time off will not be approved. Candidates must have experience with EPIC systems.
