Description
Position Overview
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This position involves critical thinking, scientific judgment, and effective leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold shift accountability for patient care while utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessments and interventions.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of staff members.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Position Requirements
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing specialty.
- Willingness to float between various departments and multiple locations within the region.
Additional Information
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 6:1. Scrub color is flexible, and experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. Candidates are required to work a minimum number of weekend shifts as part of their schedule.
