Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. This position focuses on providing high-quality patient care in a 30-bed unit with a diverse population of Med/Surg patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6:1 to ensure individualized attention.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions to identify changes that may require intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Experience in a level 1 trauma facility or mid-large hospital is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to timely and effective patient care.
