Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment.
Shift Details
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Shift Schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM; every other weekend required
Unit Information
The CVICU is known for its busy and fast-paced atmosphere, taking care of a diverse range of complex cardiovascular cases, excluding transplants. The unit is equipped to handle the highest acuity patients in the area.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- Required Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience with:
- Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
- Impella devices
- Balloon pumps
- Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD)
