Position Details
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Work Schedule: Alternate Weekends

Unit Information
Unit Name: Ground West Rehab Center (ARC)
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 3-5 patients per day
- Staffing: No therapy aides on staff; PCTs may assist patients when available.
- Equipment: Sara Stedy, Vector, BITS, BURT, Bioness H200 UE, ARJO mobility device, mechanical lift, Liko overhead lift, walkers, canes, wheelchairs.
- Documentation System: EPIC and UDS
Job Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients to promote health and rehabilitation.
- Complete thorough chart reviews and understand lab values and patient precautions.
- Implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on neuro re-education, gait training, cognitive and vestibular retraining.
- Assist in home safety assessments and family training.
- Contribute to a collaborative healthcare team to advance patients through their continuum of care.
Qualifications
- Education: MSPT or DPT degree from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Utah state license to practice.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute rehab or acute care setting.
- Skills: Understanding of multi-trauma and complex diagnoses, mobility devices, and lift systems.
- Strong time management, communication skills, and the ability to work as a team player.

The role is within a supportive and close-knit therapy team that values collaboration with nursing staff and other disciplines. Team members engage in outdoor activities and share a passion for animal welfare.

Additional Information
