Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 10 LDR, 2 OR, 2 Triage
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 1 UC, 1 ST
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 1 UC, 1 ST
- Patient Ratios: AWHONN standards
- Equipment: Updated HillRom, GE
- EMR: Document system is Expanse, monitoring in CPN
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience in Labor and Delivery
- Able to circulate in OR for cesarean sections
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Labor with Postpartum care
- Experience in Triage
Procedures Performed
- Care of labor and delivery patients
- Postpartum couplet care
Personality Fit
- Energetic and ready to support a cohesive team
Certifications
- NRP
- AWHONN FM
- BLS
- ACLS
Work Schedule
- Rotating weekends
- Holiday coverage required
