Unit Information
Location: Aurora, CO
Unit: Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites
- Number of Staff: 16
- Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area
- Type of Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Cath Lab Technologists to join our high-performing team. This position involves working with engaged physicians and participating in a strong structural heart program. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality patient care while utilizing advanced technologies and equipment.
Work Schedule
This position is structured around a rotating schedule, featuring four 10-hour shifts per week with weekend shifts included in the call schedule.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 6 months’ current experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- BLS certification
- ARRT (R) certification
- RCIS or RCES certification (must be willing to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA)
Preferred:
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification
- Experience with scrubbing and monitoring
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Common Procedures
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
- Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) placements
- Cardioversion procedures
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
- Tilt Table Tests
- Structural heart monitoring
