Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment, emphasizing cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Provide comprehensive care to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Float to various units as needed while maintaining a full patient ratio.
• Assist in cardiovascular assessments and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Schedule

This position includes a night shift from 1900 to 0730, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Illinois nursing license.
• BLS certification required.
• EKG test must be passed with a score of 80% or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 travel contract.
• No new graduates will be accepted for this role.
• Experience in cardiovascular care is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a 13-week contract position. Non-billable orientation will require 16 hours, with final credentialing due the Thursday before the start date.
