Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, as well as coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Shift Requirements

Day shift options available: 36 hours or 48 hours per week. While one holiday off will be approved, the candidate must be willing to work on other holidays.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required
