Position Overview

This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients, adhering to established standards of care and employing the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will supervise and direct the activities of different levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. This position requires critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care according to established standards.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care.

Requirements

• Nights required: 36 or 48 hours per week.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to work holidays, with the option to have one holiday off.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification is required.
