Job Description

Join our dynamic team at a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility managing over 100,000 visits annually and recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the nation. As the only Level I trauma center in the region, we provide critical care to a diverse patient population and manage boarder patients effectively.

Job Duties

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Assist with the treatment and management of a diverse range of patients.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Active RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Previous travel experience in an Emergency Department is required.

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association only.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - American Heart Association only.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

Working Hours

This position involves rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night schedules, with floating assignments over weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities as needed.
