CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality computed tomography imaging services.

Shift Details

• Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CT setting
• Certification: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• State License: Required

Responsibilities

• Perform standard CT imaging, including stroke and trauma scans.
• Transport patients to the emergency room and ensure efficient tech-to-nurse hand offs.
• Document incidents when appropriate and report findings accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stocking rooms and contacting environmental services for final cleaning as needed.

• Number of CT Scanners: 2 (Phillips 64 Slice and 16 Slice CT scanners)
• Average Number of Scans/Studies Per Day: 35-45
• EMR/PACS Systems Used: Epic and FIJI PACS

• Call or Standby Requirement: 30-minute response time
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Grey scrubs are expected; provided by the department
