Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is for a night shift role, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions and provide critical care when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health management and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
• Completion of at least 2 previous travel assignments in a nursing role.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Training in ESI level 5 is required.
• Certification in TNCC is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a night shift position, and flexibility in scheduling is expected to meet the needs of the department.
