Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a specialized neurological unit.
• Utilize state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology in the evaluation and treatment of seizures.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry.
• BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification is essential.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. The unit is recognized as a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region, treating many acute and complex patients.
