Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits you to begin your career on a specialized neurological unit. This unit offers a valuable learning experience about various neurological diseases while allowing you to utilize your nursing and critical thinking skills. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, providing care for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to complex patients in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
• Utilize state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of seizure disorders.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values the skills, talents, and compassion of nursing professionals.
• Participate actively in patient care planning and contribute to the overall success of the unit.

Requirements

• Telemetry Experience Required
• Current RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Minimum of Two Years of Nursing Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Work Schedule

Flexible scheduling, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, is expected to meet the unit's needs.
