Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency

Shift Information

This position requires a varied shift schedule with 12-hour shifts. Start times may vary and include 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 6 p.m.

Minimum Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Certifications and Requirements

Current California nursing license
BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required
Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
Experience with EPIC charting
A minimum of 2 years of prior emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher, including exposure to pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients
Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification is preferred

This position is within a Level II Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI and Stroke Receiving Center, featuring:

5 pods and 49 beds with a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1
Approximately 68,000 annual emergency visits
