Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. Candidates must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology, and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred. The ideal candidate is proficient in operating MRI machinery, ensuring patient comfort during procedures, and maintaining effective communication with physicians to coordinate timely results. Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods are required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans while explaining the procedures to enhance comfort.
• Document all procedures, ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is required to be considered.
• ARRT certification or similar is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Familiarity with all non-contrast exams, routine musculoskeletal, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI procedures is required.

Schedule

The position requires a full-time commitment for the first two weeks of employment before transitioning to a solo shift. Flexibility in working day and evening hours is necessary for alignment with orientation requirements.
