Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. This position is based in a fast-paced environment and requires commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical unit, specifically in the neuro specialty.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective patient-centered care.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with patient education and aids in their recovery processes.
- Work in a unit with an additional overflow of beds as necessary.
Schedule:
Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with varying schedules required.
Holiday Requirements:
The candidate must be available to work two major holidays from the following options: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and one minor holiday from: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical or Neuro specialty.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
