- Progressive Care Nurse, Definitive Observation Unit Nurse, Intermediate Care Nurse, Stepdown Nurse or Surgical Stepdown Nurse (2 years)
Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of nursing experience and will be equipped to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios: ICU patients 2:1; Med/surg and PCU patients 4:1
- Unit Staff: Charge RN, RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule (schedules are 4 weeks)
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
- Patient Experience Requirements: Med/surg experience
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Dress Code
Mandatory uniform: Navy scrubs
