Job Summary

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred. The successful candidate will efficiently operate the MRI machine, provide comfort to patients before and during scanning procedures, and collaborate with physicians to ensure timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel at ease.
• Administer IVs as necessary for specific tests.
• Document all procedures while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Experience with GE MRI scanners is mandatory.
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred.
• ARRT certification or equivalent is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain certification after starting.
