Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity. This position is for night shifts, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency room setting.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to make quick decisions regarding patient treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an emergency room setting.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
