Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Unit Information
- 30-bed unit
- Mixed Medical/Surgical patient population
- Nurse-to-Patient ratio: 5-6:1
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Assist with patient education and emotional support
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
