Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. This position is essential for staffing additional overflow beds in the Neuro Unit, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Schedule

Full-time position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions while implementing treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Holiday Expectations

All staff members are expected to work during major holidays, which include:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

Additionally, one minor holiday is required, which can include:

• The Friday after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve
