Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with recent experience in Medical / Surgical care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment.
Schedule
This position requires availability for day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical / Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist patients with daily activities and ensure their comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical / Surgical nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
Holiday Requirements
The selected candidate must be willing to work on two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
