• Day Shift: 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 3 techs
• Night Shift: 1 charge nurse and 5 nurses, 2 techs

Patient Ratios: 1:4, charge nurse is free of patient responsibilities (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)

Type of Equipment: Vents, Feeding Pumps, IV Pumps, Wound Vacs, Specialty Beds, Suction, Chest Tubes

Electronic Medical Records: Meditech / CPN

Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of PCU Registered Nurse (RN). This position requires a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience along with valid BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience with NIH and prior Meditech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures such as placing chest tubes and bedside bronchitis.
• Manage chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suctioning.
