Location: Aurora, CO
Unit: OR Heart Team / (702)
General Information
- Number of Beds: Supported across multiple locations
- Number of Staff: 15 Cardiovascular staff members
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: Teams of 3 (2 RNs and 1 CST Tech)
- Night Shift: Teams of 2 (1 RN and 1 CST Tech)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: GE/Stryker
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience
- Current BLS, DORA, and NBSTA Certifications
- Proficient in Open Heart procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with Meditech
- Experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities
- Cardiovascular experience
Typical Procedures
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Valve replacements

The ideal candidate should be flexible, confident, and a team player with a strong emphasis on patient experience and effective communication with staff and providers.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
- Must be willing to float within 25 miles of the facility when needed.
- Call Requirements: Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing; details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Weekends: No weekend shifts required.
