About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the staffing pool for our stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality care to patients requiring transitional monitoring and management following acute care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Document patient care activities and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a stepdown or critical care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Details

This position requires working evening shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
