Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for night shifts from 8:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a CT registry mandatory.
• Active New York state license required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans following established protocols and quality control procedures.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomical positions and procedures to ensure optimal imaging results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and aseptic techniques during all imaging procedures.
• Organize patient care and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely and efficient operation.
• Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing patient concerns throughout the imaging process.
