Job Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The role requires a focus on providing high-quality care to critically ill patients and supporting their families.
Shift Details
This position operates on a night shift schedule, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Location
The position is located in City, State.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the SICU.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess conditions in real-time.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Perform advanced medical procedures and administer medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families regarding healthcare plans and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in an intensive care setting.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
