Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Employment Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), Weekdays, every other weekend
- Float Required: Yes (ER, ICU)
Unit Description
- 70-bed rural facility
- Experienced/knowledgeable in acute care/telemetry required
- Care for occasional pediatric/adolescent patients
- LPNs utilized on night shift with the RN
- RN may float to other units (including ICU) as needed
- House Supervisor available for support 24/7
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
Qualifications
- Experience Required:
- 2+ years as an RN
- 1 year of experience in MS/Tele
- 2 years of experience in Stepdown
- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Certifications Required:
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Certifications Preferred:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Skills Required:
- Telemetry
- Skills Preferred:
- Pediatrics
- Charge experience

- Scrubs Provided: No (Burgundy)
- EMR System: Cerner

Health and Background Requirements
- Health Documents:
- Initial physical exam (updated annually)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred within 10 years)
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Drug Testing (10 panel within 30 days of start and updated annually)
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
- COVID-19 vaccination records or signed declination form (not required)
- Background Check:
- 7-year criminal check within a year of start and updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM checks required within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
References
- Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations also accepted) required.
