Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Festus, Missouri

Position Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

• Shift: Days, 5x8 (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Call Requirements: 10-15 days per month (weekdays, weekends, holidays)
• Call Rotation: On-call rotation
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years Cath Lab experience with interventional cardiology
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association only) required
  • RCIS preferred
• Licensure: Required (specific license not detailed)

Unit Information

• Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 2
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6
• EMR System: EPIC
• Equipment Experience: IABP, Impella, Penumbra, CSI, C-Arm operation, sheath removal, maintaining hemostasis

Job Responsibilities

• Assist providers in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator implants and peripheral procedures
• Operate cath lab equipment and manage procedural tables
• Multi-task effectively in high-stress situations
• Participate in call rotation as required

Preferred Skills

• Critical Care experience
• Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology certification
