Position Details

• Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts (09:00 - 17:30) with call
• Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend
• Scheduling Type: Block schedule
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year (First-time travelers considered depending on experience)

• Fit Mask Test (within 1 year, renewed annually)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (updated annually)
  • TB Questionnaire (annual)
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if needed)
  • Hepatitis B Surface Antibody Titer (declination acceptable if low/equivocal)
  • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (declination acceptable if low/equivocal)
• Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (excluding marijuana panel)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccine (required Nov 1 - Apr 30, declination accepted)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: No mandatory requirement, but vaccination records collected for LA County campuses
• Background Check (7-year search including SS trace, county, nationwide, sex offender)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks

Required Competency Exams and Training

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam

• Pass/Fail Testing for EKG and Medication Calculation (not required for Per Diem)
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (not required for Per Diem)

Facility-Specific Requirements
