Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call after hours and weekend rotation
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital when on-call to cover Hybrid OR and emergent cases

Required Credentials

• ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted)
• Kentucky license pending applications accepted

Certifications & Competencies (as applicable)

• ACLS (AHA Only)
• BLS (AHA Only)
• PALS (AHA Only)
• NRP (AAP Only)
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• NIH Stroke Certification (per specialty)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) (per specialty)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Color Blind Testing (required prior to start)
• Competency Exam (required prior to start)

Licensure & Verification

• State License Primary Source Verification required
• NURSYS Verification for RNs
• Tech Certification Verification (for allied professionals)
• Education Verification or diploma/transcript required prior to start

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test (annual) with accepted mask types; waiver process available for failed fit tests
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination acceptable for non-clinical)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual update)
• Baseline TB Risk Assessment within 90 days of start (annual update)
• MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or IgG titer required; no declinations accepted
• Hepatitis B: Surface antibody titer, series, or declination required
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or IgG titer required; no declinations accepted
• Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel urine drug screen within 90 days of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved Medical/Religious Exemption (required during flu season Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID-19 Vaccine or approved Medical/Religious Exemption

Background & Compliance Checks

• 7-year criminal background check (updated annually) including SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender, FACIS Level 3
• EPLS/GSA/SAM checks required
• HHS/OIG checks required
• 2 professional references required (1 for non-clinical)
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist (unit specific, annual update) for clinical candidates
• Hospital evaluation completed by unit managers (not required prior to start)

• Badge photo required (shoulders up, solid light background)
• Various facility-specific exemption forms for flu and COVID vaccines must be completed if applicable
• Candidates must comply with respiratory fit test waiver process if applicable
• Education verification must match specialty
