Job Summary
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Continuously evaluate patient health status through data collection and assessment.
- Provide health teaching and counseling.
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
- Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize resources effectively.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization and adhere to service behavior standards.
- May float to other departments within scope of competency based on business needs.
- May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to satisfactorily perform all essential nursing duties.
- Must meet knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience requirements.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
