Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Position

Location: Edgewood, Kentucky

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday), plus 1-2 nights on call per week
• Holiday Rotation: Included
• Charting System: EPIC experience required
• First-time travelers: Considered
• Dress Code: Scrubs/apparel must not have any agency or brand logos
• Facility Amenities: No cafeteria; refrigerator and microwave provided onsite
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Appearance Policy:

  • No nose rings or gauged earrings
  • Nails must be natural and less than 1/4" in length; polish is acceptable

Required Certifications

• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) — must be in hand at start (pending at submission allowed)
• ARRT certification
• Cath Lab training required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Vaccination & Health Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (declinations not accepted; exemptions considered case-by-case)
• Tdap vaccine required within 10 years (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (THC not required)
• Fit mask test required within 12 months of start and annually thereafter (specific mask types required)
• Physical exam within 12 months, updated annually
• TB screening (QGold/Tspot or 2-step PPD) within 90 days, updated annually
• Immunity or vaccination proof for: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella

Background & Compliance

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Two clinical references within 2 years required
• Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually) required
• Education verification and transcripts/diplomas required depending on role

Additional Notes

• Tattoos/piercings: No nose rings or gauged earrings allowed
• Flu vaccine exemptions require agency documentation
• Candidates may complete fit testing onsite during the first week (out-of-pocket cost applies)
• Must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• HIPAA safety manual acknowledgement required
• Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication competency required for all RNs except Rehab
• Advanced Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required annually for all RNs except Rehab
