Travel RN Opportunity – Obstetrics

Location: Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

Position Details

• Department: Obstetrics (OB)
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: See shift details (36 guaranteed hours/week)
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: Not specified
• Patient Population: Laboring moms and nursery care (couplet care unit)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for laboring moms
• Unit Beds: 6

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years RN experience
• Previous OB and nursery experience required
• Certifications required prior to start:

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Intermediate fetal monitoring
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

Skills & Responsibilities

• Intrapartum and postpartum care
• Nursery knowledge required
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Additional Information

• Electronic Health Records used: CPM and Medhost
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; no non-facility associated attire permitted
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
