Travel RN Opportunity – Obstetrics
Location: Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Facility: Crockett Hospital (Lifepoint Health, Inc)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- 99-bed acute care hospital
- Accredited chest pain center since 2007
- Located about 1.5 hours from Nashville, TN
- Offers a mix of outdoor recreation and local attractions
Position Details
- Department: Obstetrics (OB)
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: See shift details (36 guaranteed hours/week)
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: Not specified
- Patient Population: Laboring moms and nursery care (couplet care unit)
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 for laboring moms
- Unit Beds: 6
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Previous OB and nursery experience required
- Certifications required prior to start:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Intermediate fetal monitoring
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
Skills & Responsibilities
- Intrapartum and postpartum care
- Nursery knowledge required
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Additional Information
- Electronic Health Records used: CPM and Medhost
- Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; no non-facility associated attire permitted
- Orientation held weekly on Mondays
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
