Physical Therapist (PT) Travel Position

Location: Hartsville, South Carolina

Job Description

Physical Therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or conditions limiting their mobility and functional activities. PTs develop treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They also create fitness and wellness programs to prevent mobility loss.

PTs provide care in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
• Providing patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy
• Supervising physical therapy assistants and aides during treatment

Requirements

• Must have a valid South Carolina PT license (attach to resume)
• Minimum 2 years recent PT experience, hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (attach to submission packet)
• Position is outpatient setting
