Description

Occupational Therapist - Home Health

Location: Sacramento, California
Facility: Mercy Home Health

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Average Caseload: Approximately 4 visits per day (combination of evaluations and revisits)
Coverage Area: Northeastern Sacramento into Folsom

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Active California OT license
Active BLS certification
Active NPI number
Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance (required for home health travel)
Two supervisory references required at time of submission (one within the last 12 months, one within the last 3 years)
Completion of required modules before assignment start (3-4 hours, non-billable time)

Additional Information

Mileage reimbursement provided according to GSA guidelines; mileage must be documented and approved by home health supervisors
Candidates with COTA credentials and home health experience may be considered if no OT applicants are available
Regular meetings twice a month for timesheet and mileage approval or alternative electronic submission process available
