Location: Kennewick, Washington

Position Details

• Number of Beds: 14
• Patient Ratios: 1:2, CN free of patients
• Patient Population: Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
• Type of Patients: Sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac and trauma
• Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon

Requirements

• Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 2 years (based on highest requirement)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred Experience: Medical ICU, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented, accountable to best practices

Summary

This is a travel RN position in a 14-bed Medical ICU located in Kennewick, WA. The role requires at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a preference for candidates with Medical ICU and trauma nursing experience. The shift is 12 hours overnight with every other weekend off and no call requirements. The unit cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, and some cardiac and trauma cases.
