Occupational Therapist - Home Health (Travel Contract)

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel contract in home health.
• Average of four visits per day, including evaluations and revisits.
• Coverage area includes northeastern Sacramento into Folsom.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• First to float position (flexible to cover different assignments as needed).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 full years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active BLS certification.
• Active NPI number.
• Valid California OT license required.
• Current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Two supervisory references needed at time of submission:

  • One within the last 12 months.
  • One within the last 3 years.
• Consideration may be given to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) with home health experience if no OT applicants are available.

Additional Information

• Mileage reimbursement provided according to GSA guidelines.
• Mileage must be documented on personal timesheets and signed by home health supervisors.
• Supervisors may approve mileage via in-person meetings twice a month or by email.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
