Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Shift: Night shift
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Key Requirements and Credentials

Mandatory Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be AHA certified.
• Current License: Primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start. Include FACIS Questionnaire if any disciplinary actions.
• Driver's License/State ID: Must be valid, not expired, and match address requirements.

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
• Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted but mask required.
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start, can be completed onsite.
• TB Testing: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within a year, and annual TB questionnaire. Two-step PPD or IGRA within 90 days of start.
• Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.

Background and Compliance

• Criminal Background Check: Includes Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and others; completed within 30 days of first assignment and updated annually or after breaks in service.
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) Check: Run within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days.
• Drug Screen: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually or after breaks in service. Must include MRO review if applicable.
• Education Verification: Verification of relevant education within 90 days of start; updated if break in service > 90 days.
• Employment Verification: Third-party verification for past 7 years; updated annually or after breaks in service.

Onboarding and Competency

• Ascension Core Competencies: HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year of start, updated yearly, minimum 80% score.
• Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start, updated annually.
• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding: Includes a 6-hour pre-hire education with attestation.
• Badge Photo: Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations.

Additional Notes

• Flu season mask policy applies for exemptions/declinations.
• Post-assignment evaluations and exit surveys may be requested but are optional.
