Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech – Radiology/Cardiology

Location: Greenwood, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM)
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Call Requirement: Low STEMI call, approximately every 3rd week
• Work Setting: Cath Lab
• Charting System: EPIC
• Local Radius Rule: 50 miles (locals accepted)

Licensure & Certifications Required

• State License: South Carolina license required prior to start
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required for all travelers
  • RCIS or CCI certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as required
• Additional certifications may be required depending on role specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) if applicable

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Identification & Verification

Background Checks

• 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• Instant background checks acceptable if regular checks are pending before start date

Health & Immunization

• Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands (initial and annual)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination allowed with facility approval)
• Flu vaccination or approved declination for current flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination (Dose 1 and fully vaccinated status required) or approved medical/religious exemption; booster preferred but not required
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)

• Proof of 2 clinical references within the past year
• Completed employment application/resume
• Photo for badge
• Facility-specific onboarding information and compliance modules to be completed prior to orientation
