Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Location: Decatur, Illinois

Position Details

• Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (0900-1730)
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• On-call: No
• Floating: Yes, PT work throughout various hospital units
• Schedule: Mostly Monday-Friday block schedule with every third weekend required
• Local Candidates: Accepted, no radius restrictions
• License: Must have active Illinois state license in hand to apply
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Certifications

• ACLS and PALS may be required based on unit/specialty (AHA or RQI acceptable)

• Competency exam required for clinical/allied candidates
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, including labs
• Fit mask test required (specific mask types accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
• References: 2 professional references required for clinical candidates
• Various state-specific background and registry checks required within 30 days of start
