Job Opportunity: RN Interventional Radiology

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• One 1730-0630 (5:30 PM - 6:30 AM) call shift per week
• Every 5th weekend on call

Required Credentials & Onboarding Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support): American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel. Must provide front and back images of the card.
• License/Certificate Verification: Must be dated within 30 days of start. Online verification required (state verification preferred, NURSYS for RNs and LPNs).
• NIHSS Certification
• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing: Specialty exam completed within the last year.
• Trinity Skills Checklist: Provided by agency for clinical contractors.

Health & Immunizations

• Fit Test
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days of start (preferred within 14 days). Must include 10 specific substances (no THC).
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of booster by Sept 2025, or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report.
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted.
• Influenza Vaccine: Proof of vaccine, declination, or exemption for current flu season. Declination not accepted in CA or IL.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): TB testing with chest x-ray if positive (within 1 year for some states, 5 years for others).
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report.
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work.
• Tdap Vaccine: Current, non-expired vaccine required; declinations accepted if no pediatric interaction.

• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) Check: Dated within 30 days of start.
• GSA/OIG Exclusion Check: Dated within 30 days of start.
• Joint Commission CORE Exam: Within last year.
• NSO (National Sex Offender) Check: Dated within 30 days of start, including all aliases and locations.
• System Access Form: Must be completed and uploaded one week before start.
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training: Required for Iowa assignments.
• Iowa Sing Report: Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check required within 30 days prior to start.
• OFAC Sanctions Check: Must be completed within 30 days of start.
