Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Facility: Einstein Medical Center (part of Jefferson Health system)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details

- PA license not required
- Weekend Requirement: Friday only as part of Monday-Friday schedule and on call
- On Call Requirement:
- 1 night per week (12:00 AM - 7:30 AM)
- 1 weekend every 5th weekend (Sat 4 PM - Sun 8 AM and Sun 8 PM - Mon 7:30 AM)
- No floating required
- Charting system: Centricity
- Philips MRI experience preferred
- 2 years of experience required
- 1st time travelers are welcome
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT (R) (MR) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on role
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as applicable
- State License verification (primary source verification required; compact licenses accepted for some professions)
- NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
Compliance & Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
- Must include all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Checks include SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 1M, Education Verification
- PA Statewide PATCH search required for PA facilities
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
- Fingerprinting required for PA placements only (PA Department of Human Services fingerprinting results within 5 years, updated every 5 years)
- Education verification or official transcript required
- Work history verification as applicable
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 2 months of start (no annual update required)
- Fit test for N95 mask (3M 1870+ model) within 12 months prior to start; must be completed before start
- Current Tdap vaccine or titer required
- Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT) within 90 days of start; chest X-ray if positive test
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B: series, titer, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (not required annually)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 1)
- COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements
Orientation & Facility Specific Requirements
- Completion of assigned education modules prior to orientation (approx. 6 hours; not required for Einstein Philadelphia and Einstein Elkins Park)
- Signed acknowledgment of Joint Commission Safety Manual annually
- Pass/fail dysrhythmia exam required during orientation (one attempt only)
- Photo required for badge prior to start
Additional Notes
- 2 professional references required (within 2 years)
- Skills checklist must be updated annually
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 12 months of start (not required for non-clinical without minor contact or Sterile Processing Techs)
- Facility will not allow candidates to start without all required background checks and clearances on file
