Job Opportunity: RN - OR Circulating
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Details
- 11 Operating Rooms (OR) and 1 GI suite
- 30 to 50 cases per day
- 10-hour day shifts
- No call, no weekends
- Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue)
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong orthopedic experience required
- Experience with total joints and arthroscopy
- Robotics experience highly preferred, especially with MAKO robot
- 3-4 years recent circulator experience
Certifications & Licenses
- RN license in South Dakota or compact state
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
Job Duties
- Circulate primarily in orthopedic cases: total joints (MAKO), arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF
- Some general surgery, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures
- Use of MAKO robotic equipment
Additional Information
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- If previously employed by this health system, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
- No floating to other units or departments
This position is ideal for experienced OR circulating nurses with strong orthopedic and robotics skills looking for a stable, no-call, weekday schedule.
