Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist

Location: Okemos, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment.
Operate specialized imaging equipment to create images showing organ and tissue function.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure radiation safety for both patients and staff.
Maintain imaging equipment and document all processes accurately.
Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis and provide critical data for patient care and research.
Work settings include hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) experience (required).
Cardiology experience (required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
Certification: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification required.

Contract Length

13 weeks
