Travel RN Opportunity – Behavioral Health

Facility & Unit Overview

• Unit: Behavioral Health Unit (3rd Floor)
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Population: Adult
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Equipment: Vitals Machine, EMAR, Omnicell
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Med Host
• Shift: Open
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every-other weekend rotation
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: RN may float to other departments

Required Qualifications & Experience

• RN License
• BLS Certification
• Handle with Care preferred
• Minimum 1 year inpatient behavioral health experience
• ACLS and PALS required but can be obtained within 60 and 90 days respectively after start date

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Inpatient Behavioral Health experience

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• Depression
• Bipolar Disorder
• Schizophrenia
• Schizoaffective Disorder
• Personality Disorders
• Dual Diagnosis (primary mental health)

Additional Information

• Scrub Color: Non-specific color indicated, scrubs required
• Fit testing offered on-site
• Must be greater than 60 miles from facility to qualify as travel
